The Jitterbug Social 2018

Master Class with David Leventhal and Sam Black


Dance for PD Founding teacher, program director and former MMDG dancer David Leventhal will offer a free, open-to-the-public master class along with his MMDG colleague Sam Black on Saturday February 24th, 2018 at the Sony Centre at 11am – 12pm, prior to the Jitterbug Social dance party and lunch!


Classes are reserved for those with Parkinson's disease and their carepartners.

Dance for PD® was originally founded as a collaboration between the Mark Morris Dance Group and the Brooklyn Parkinson Group in 2001. Now fully administered by the Mark Morris Dance Group, the internationally-acclaimed Dance for PD program provides weekly classes throughout New York City, offers teacher training and professional development around the globe, and nurtures relationships among other organizations to foster classes around the world.
